Good independent pho restaurant! Popular lunch place – lots of customers coming in for takeout banhmi and also for sit-in pho. Good amount of beef slices; generous amount of cilantro and basil leaves. The optional toppings were lemon wedges (instead of lime), raw bean sprouts, and basil. No jalapeno pepper or chili pepper. – Soup tastes beefy and balanced- Soup depth of flavour was mild — offset by the sliced beef- Beef quality/cut is pretty good- Beef portion is good for the size/price- Served with good amount of bean sprouts, fresh lime and basil.Service: fast

this place opened up not too long ago and its a perfect place if you want a quick lunch. The atmosphere is very relaxing and calm, the staff there is family owned (like many other viet places) and are super friendly if you have questions and such. I ordered the banh mi and it was really delicious. One time the chicken was cooked a bit too dry but the other times have been fine. Their pho is decent, quite similar to other places but the spring rolls are very delicious 😀
My partner and I have come to Caf Phuong Truc at least once and sometimes even twice a week ever since it opened up in September. We both agree that this restaurant has the best pho broth in the Mount Pleasant area, and perhaps even all of Vancouver. The service is consistently friendly, and it is a clean and calm environment to enjoy the food in. I recommend eating here to find out for yourself. Hidden gem!
Very unassuming place. Bao chau quality spring rolls and decent butter beef. The pho is not bad and the quality of everything is high. Would highly recommend!! The banh mi is a steal!
Just opened almost 2 months ago. As per pic, great pho & subs with their special house sauce. Spicy too so be forewarned lol. Reasonably priced too. Offer delivery.
