OVERALL:- good food- friendly staffWe ordered a Special #2 ($25), which includes 1 medium pizza, 1 medium pasta, 1 house salad, and garlic toast. For the pizza, you can pick from anything they have, or build-your-own. We picked the Seafood Special and for the pasta, we picked Lasagna. They make everything on the spot, so we had to wait about 20minutes. Although the pizza lacked in the stringy-cheese-effect when I took a piece, the flavour was good and it had a decent amount of toppings! The lasagna was quite amazing. It had some veggies & minced beef and the cheesiness was perfect!!! The ‘house salad’ was actually a greek salad, but I didn’t mind that. It had a lot of olives, so my mom was super happy about that. The garlic bread was just average/ mediocre though.Be sure to tell them if you will be eating there, if not they will pack everything in the take-away containers. Usually great, but today it was awful.. Usually the pizza is cooked to perfection with a generous amount of toppings. Today my Artichoke Special was burnt, dry, short of toppings and overall incredibly disappointing. When I go in most of the time I see the older gentlemen or lady, or the spunky young women. Today it was a bunch of younger dudes – maybe check and see who’s working before ordering.I also called in to politely voice my pleasure – the young gent on the other end of the phone seemed flabbergasted and didn’t even offer an apology. Up until now I’ve also enjoyed the pizza, but I’ll be hesitant to put down $17 for a large pizza from again.
Good quality ingredients. My wife and I walk here from English Bay. Friendly staff. Really enjoy the pizza. We always order a whole one so it is nice and hot and delicious.
Pizza at its best?. After reading some reviews on this place I decided to try it. The pizza is at best a 2 out of 10. its not even a 3 dressed up like of a nine. Best of luck to them, I will go else where. bake your crust longer and cheese.
There is no better pizzeria than Papa’s! I’ve been going there my whole life and have yet to be dissapointed with the food. Affordable, delicious, and friendly service… What more could you ask for? I recommend this superb place to everyone.
Quality pizza !. I’ve been buying my pizza and lasagna from Papa’s for over a decade now! The owners and employees are just the sweetest people ever! The pizza is not greasy like Pizza Hut nor is it too dry. Each bite you take ensures freshness and a flavourful tang. Purchasing a slice of pizza right when it comes out of the oven is an extra bonus!
