Wow, just by chance, this was one of 5 locations, giving away free bagels with cream cheese today on March 9 2018. Any kind.My first experience with rosemary was at the North Vancouver location on Lonsdale. I must say, even if I had to pay for one, I do enjoy them. If your a Siegel’s fan, give rosemary rocksalt a try.

Ambience : Tiny place with very welcoming serversFood : They have atleast 10 varieties of healthy bagels guys which are sweetened with honey. So good ! I love their sesame seed bagel the most . They have delicious yam fries too. These healthy bagels are definitely not expensive .*dont expect soft fluffy bagels as these are healthier ones ! Must try place.

It had been awhile since I first tried this place out. Walked by on a Monday afternoon and it was pretty much full inside. But it is a small place with just a few seats and tables on the side. Ordered the rosemary rocksalt bagel with salmon lite cream cheese. Their bagels are smaller than the ones at grocery stores but the quality is there. The bagel was smothered with a generous helping of the cream cheese. This was the perfect afternoon snack. I love the presentation of it as well. They have wooden planks with indentations for each side of the bagel. I noticed that they also have soup and poutine. I don’t know if they always had that or it is something new. But you could definitely make a lunch out of the bagel with one of their bagel sandwiches and maybe add some soup to that. I probably would come here more often if it was in a different location. But this is worth a try if you’re craving some good carbs.

Been here twice about 8 months apart, wanted to really give it a chance, but both times the experience was the same.We bought, for takeout, the Sesame, Poppy, Plain, and Rosemary Rocksalt, and ate these with plain cream cheese.Cutting into the bagels, they were ‘wet/cold’ to the touch, and so needed to be toasted when we brought them home. They were small, and their texture was dense/doughy/gummy to the point it would stick to our teeth. As well they all tasted about the same which is to say they were all oddly tasteless, not sweet or salty or even smelling like dough with yeast (i.e. the Rosemary Rocksalt tasted like water-dough, which is water and flour, without any salt and the Rosemary tastes like store bought dried Rosemary which was offputting).

This morning, Joy, Sherry, Becks and I headed to Rosemary Rocksalt for a bagel brunch.Rosemary Rocksalt is known for their Montreal-style bagels, with other specialties like their smoked meat and cream cheese. Having been to Montreal to try the original Montreal bagels, I was curious to see how theirs would compare. They offer a variety of sandwiches and toppings for their bagels, as well as sides like soups and poutine. They have lots of choices for their bagels so you can mix and match different flavour combos! Joy and I both ordered sandwiches, the Morning (on plain bagel) and the Skinny (on rosemary rocksalt), while Sherry and Becks opted for bagels with spreads, and sides of soup. Sherry got the cranilla cream cheese (cranberry and vanilla; rosemary rocksalt) and Becks got the peanut butter & jam (feature- pumpkin spice) and they both chose the daily special chipotle corn chowder. I really enjoyed my sandwich bagel, which had tomatoes, cheddar and an egg omelette. The rosemary rock salt bagel was delicious- chewy and fragrant with rosemary. Definitely lives up to the title! (5/5) Although their sandwiches are pricy, I would definitely recommend at least picking up a few of their bagels to try. Not to mention, the store itself is quite charming. I loved the witty bagel comics on the walls! Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Value: 3/5 | Ambiance: 4/5 instagram.com

The rosemary rock salt bagel is good. I’ve had better bagels before but this is my first time to eat at a Specialty Bagel shop. I would buy a dozen of their rosemary rock salt bagels when I have that craving. itsmechuck.com

I am guilty of eating too many bagels. Rosemary Rocksalt is the perfect place to get them considering they’re dedicated completely and solely to their bagels. With fresh bagels everyday, adorable kids advertising for them, and the smiles of some of the sweetest workers, this place calls for the perfect setting! The place itself is adorable with the cutest wall of bagel/food puns and more. Their bagel sandwiches are my favourite especially their lox and cream and jalapeo melt. They get an A+ from me!
