Swiss Bakery serves a wide selection of baked goods.Their pastries are pretty good and at prices that aren’t nearly as high as most of the other bakeries.
I bought a couple of cronuts (frissants) and a chocolate croissant here. All of them tasted great! I went to this bakery before they closed at 6pm, so there was not much varieties remaining. I should have come in the morning. I told a server there that it was my first time here. She introduced me what was good or very good. I thanked her help. When I drove by on the way to work in the morning, I saw people came here to buy a cup of coffee and some bread or pastries for breakfast. Usually the bread and pastries are more fresh and soft in the morning. There is street parking in front of the bakery. It is quite convenient. If you are in the neighbourhood, you should visit this European bakery and try some of their bread or pastries.
Was told to check out the frissant – fritter and croissant hybrid. They had two flavors – vanilla or pumpkin. We chose the vanilla and I didn’t know it at the time, but this would be the flavor of the custard in the middle of the frissant. Nothing personally, I just don’t like custards – other than that, the frissant was flakey on the inside and sticky on the outside. The place is busy during lunch but the line moves quickly.
Excellent place for quick eats – amazing sandwiches, great coffee and chai latte, and their signature item, the frissant (or the cronut) is to die for.
Their frissant is DELICIOUS! Crunchy but soft like a croissant. The only cronuts I’ve had were in the US but it wasn’t as good as swiss bakery’s. I was very impressed.
