Great times. I had great times at calypso foods , I love there authentic Caribbean style food, I think it’s one of the greatest Caribbean styled places in surrey !!!!! The people there are great , the owner is super nice , and the food is excellent .
Curries good…’Jamaican’ food not so good.. On two occasions I have found the Goat curry done here really well, and the rice, beans, salad it comes with really nice too. But I found the Jamaican beef patty is too salty and the Jamaican Jerk chicken a bit too much on the sweet/bbq side. Maybe I don’t know the authentic taste but I always associated both patty and jerk chicken to be spicy/hot.
Jerk chicken nyamwich is dope.
