located in a strip mall where Fruiticana in Newton area lots of parking available entrance from 72nd right amount of seating area excellent customer service $5 lunches available the Chicken: flavourful, tender meat, amazing crunch on every bite- personally it is better than Churchs chicken, it is not greasy, seasoned perfectly and not salty at all which I prefer the fries: I liked it! Tasted like Costco concession fries, which is the best the Gravy: made in house from poultry juices Ill be back again for sure

The Filipino community is crazy for Jollibee Fried Chicken (obviously this is a ridiculous stereotypical conclusion) or at least the folks I know. Pinoy’s is not a bad attempt at tapping that market. My Filipina partner is skeptical but I thought that their chicken was pretty good. It is crispy and juicy and from my point of view, is much better than KFC (in fact, I have had Jollibee’s chicken a few times in Seattle where the nearest purveyor is located and believe that the allure is as much cultural as flavorful). Beyond the chicken here, not so much. My order of chicken and palabok came with gravy which was just sad. The Palabok itself was meh. Not much flavor, it needed a kick of something (I am not quite sure…might be just salt). The restaurant is a little spartan like almost every Filipino place, I have visited (mostly meant for take out). The folks are friendly as always. Come for the chicken. yeswereeatingagain.com

Came here on a ‘hot’ day. Was craving palabok (savoury Filipino noodle dish with sauce & garnishings). I didn’t get chance to take pic of meal, just the menu board & halo-halo pictured below. The fried chicken was ok, their chicken combo platters come with small gravy too. You can pick either fries, palabok, or spaghetti with your fried chicken. Owners are Filipino. They also do party trays (not advertised but I asked the owner if they do cater & he showed me a sample of their party tray costs) for familiar Filipino dishes like lumpia (spring roll), palabok, pancit (noodle dish with veggies/pork/shrimp garnishing), menudo (tomato saucy meat dish with potatoes), etc. Give them 3 days advanced notice if you want to order party trays. I liked the halo halo (shaved ice dessert with sweet red beans, coconut jelly, ube ice cream, lecheflan).
