My wife and I have been to this place many times due to tasty indian food. But with my latest two visits I have experienced extremely poor service. Yesterday ( it was a working day and restaurant was not busy) I was served appetiser with in 10 minutes. After we finished appetiser, and order for the main dish, took them 50 minutes to bring. Only one server and unknown position of Cook, it was a poor show. Also their portions are now much reduced. I think they should try to maintain standard.
Realllyyy good place for indian food and the atmosphere and decor has improved after a recent renovation. Taken many of my friends here and are all really impressed especially with the food. Ive come here occasionally for the past few years and i can confirm that the service has really improved along with the wait times being reduced for take out and dine in on busy days. My picks for meat-eaters are the chicken tikka/chicken tikka masala/ or the classic butter chicken( my friends agree it is the best in Surrey). For veggie go with dahl mahkini or chana masala with a bhutura. Garlic naans are bomb here trust me – real garlic none of that processed stuff. All in all give it a chance and you’ll be sure to become a regular soon enough 🙂
My wife and I have been to this location a few times and it is a favourite. The staff are friendly and personable. The food is wonderful. I recommend it.
Didn’t like the service. The server was slow, forgot what we ordered, SMALL PORTIONS AND HIGH PRICE. There are better indian restaurants in Surrey. It was noisy, the set up isn’t great each time someone entered we were freezing and we weren’t even sitting next to the main door.
Very good food, I had the chicken korma and my husband had the fish masala. The korma was nice and creamy. We also had rice pillau and naan. All the food was very filling. Our server was very palite and checked on us frequently. Only downer was the wait, however they also were busy with alot of take out orders. Will be back for sure.
I’ve only had take out but the food is great. The goat saag is excellent and creamy. the lamb curry had a bit too much tomato base for my liking but that might just be my preference. Ordered it spicy and it was actually spicy! I find that other restaurants are pretty tame on their spice levels so it was much appreciated.
Came here over the weekend and usually I don’t write review but I thought I should share my experiences here and offer some tips/advice.The food is outstanding, easily the best I’ve had in Surrey and really makes a lasting impression when I introduce people. My order usually includes one of the following: Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka (marinated Chunks of chicken breast which is a great appetiser), Channa Masala or Dahl Makhani for the vegetarian option, and garlic naans. If you just pick from those above you’ll get a flawless meal for a first experience.Main advice is DONT come here for your first time during busy times such as holidays because you are going to get a long wait time based on how the food is prepared here. All in all I have taken the majority of my friends and business associates to eat here at least once and they’ve all really enjoyed it. Good luck and take heed of my advice.
