Located in the Westin Hotel 2nd level. Convenient if you need dinner and don’t want to go out. I had a selection of sushi for a takeout. The sushi was good/very good but not amazing- the (real) crab roll was really delicious. The server tossed the container of sushi crooked into the bag though and some re-assembly was required. I would have this sushi again.
Noting to jump up and down about. The rolls were tasty but the sashimi was incredibly expensive. We ordered it anyway but when we came back to pick up our food they said they ran out. Would have appreciated a discount or free roll thrown in.
Absolutely amazing! Great service great food! Everyone is super happy and friendly and the sushi is to die for! They order fish into the restaurant that no one else has in whistler! It’s a great time here and great quality, if you want sushi this is the place!
We just had the lunch box and it was amazing. Fresh wild salmon and tuna sashimi, delicious chicken and the best black Alaskan cod that I have ever had. Since this is a review my only complaint would be it did take longer than I would have like for our food to arrive.
Our second time at the restaurant. Owners r alway friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is clean and reminds me of sushi places in Japan. Had $19 three course dinner. Lots of food. We were too full to have any desert. Three course consists of 1.gomaae spinach, sunomono, grilled black cod(my fav), 2. Sushi(tako, amaebi, scallop, salmon, tuna, tuna rolls), 3. Assorted tempura(prawns, carrots, sweet potato, kobocha pumpkin). We both think the seaweed nori used for sushi has a nice fragrance/taste. Must be a quality nori they use. If u r looking for a japanese restaurant with quiet atmosphere, kaze is the right place!
Crazy expensive!
Nothing exceptional.. Usual sushi fare, and the usual quality. So if you need a quick bite, it will do.
