My girlfriend and I went for a drive out to pemberton and on our way back, we heard there was a festival going on in Whistler. For all you dog owners, la brasserie is absolutely very dog friendly. In fact, all of Whistler is very dog friendly. I was very happy with how the servers were towards our furry husky friend.5/5 for being dog friendly.Service is very laid back as suspected from a casual pub. But not rude. Just make sure you ask for everything that you need from the start. The ceaser drink here is delicious and my girlfriend loved it. The salad with the add chicken was very pricey, but what can you do, my girl wants to eat healthy. My shnitzel was surprisingly delicious. I would definitely recommend this dish. If your eating as a couple, I do recommend these 2 dishes to share.If your looking for a memorable dinning experience, this isn’t the place. It’s a standard pub. But I love how dog friendly it is. I will come back to try their brunch menu though, perhaps my rating will go higher.

The service is awful. The waiters were friendly but almost screwed up from the start. Then actually screwed it up. They also kept failing to bring the drinks we ordered. Food was cold and bland. Lamb shank was obviously just thrown in a slow cooker plain, and served with plain beans. Not gross, but very disappointing. The girlfriends veggie burger was good but the salad had a terrible dressing. Would mybe go back to try the harmony burger, but would definitely be on the wait staff about the bad service.
Can’t rate this restaurant at all – avoid at all cost – I would rate negative all the way. The guy bartender / server me and my friend met on September 10, 2016 badly needs training to gain customer service skills. He does not understand plain English when asked to exclude something from a wrap – although it was mentioned 3-5 times. He gave us attitude by saying that he excluded it from the computer system – but in the food – that item we asked to exclude was in there. He apologized which is not acceptable after the damage was already done – we asked for a refund. The excuse he gave was that the chef might have mixed different meat products using his chopping board in the kitchen although we explicitly mentioned what we wanted with that guy at the beginning itself. That tells you something about the hygiene protocol in handling food items. The servers are not courteous or friendly at all – maybe they are friendly with specific clientele but certainly not with us.
By Whistler standards, La Brasserie Des Artistes is a relatively cheap place to get food & drink. It is very casual; you sit where ever you see that is clean and vacant. When you sit on the open patio, there is hardly any barrier between you and the tourists strolling in the village.We only saw one active server during dinner time, but the service was not as slow as expected. Yay (?)For food, we ordered Mussels & Frites, and the Harmony Burger ($20.95 and $14.95 respectively).There really isn’t much to say about the Mussels & Frites. The sauce changes daily, and we had a cream-based onion sauce. It was so-so all around.On the other hand, the Harmony Burger was perhaps one of the best burgers I’ve had in recent memory! It had a juicy beef patty, fresh vegetables, pickles, and lamb bacon. The most special component of the Harmony Burger was the sauce – mint chutney; a.k.a. lamb’s best friend. Harmony indeed!
Not bad. I had ‘the usual’ breakfast, typical hashbrowns, over easy eggs, and some jumbo sausages. It was decent enough and the price didn’t break the bank. Too bad the toast was cold!
Slow service and cold food. Came here on a Saturday late morning for brunch. Not overly busy, or super quiet. Sat ourselves and our waitress came over, off to a good start! It immediately went down hill. Waters took 20 mins to get to our table. We placed our orders, waited for 35 mins! Other tables were waiting too. When our food came, all of the 5 dishes were cold – except for one, it was obvious they made all the orders, then just stuck them under an apparently broken heater to wait for the last dish to cook. Cold eggs- gross. One of the orders requested for a side of Hollandaise- it came out ICE COLD. Asked the waitress for a replacement, after 10 mins, she brought out another ICE COLD hollandaise sauce. Finally, we just wanted out, and as we were paying using the card machine, (they don’ take interact, only credit or cash -no signs about this anywhere either), the waitress started to wipe the table down, dusting multiple people in our party with food crumbs and splashes of water.Will never return. Quite honestly low quality food and service. Only reason theyre in business is because of their location.
