No heart or soul. Bad food and terrible treatment of employees!
Food is gross!. We have tried most of the menu and it’s all bad! Honestly they need to hire someone that knows how to cook. The chips served with some chicken sand honestly taste like they were made days ago. It’s All bad 🙁
Everything is less then par. My husband and I had never been to the Lion together but had driven a number of times or it had been years since we had gone in. A few weeks ago we decided to go in and try it. We walked in and sat down, we ordered a pint each and was looking at the menu. You’d think that when you see someone looking at a menu, a light bulb would go off in your head and you think, that person might wanna order some food, but then again, like I said……..you’d think. We had sat there for almost an hour, the servers walked by quite a few times and couldn’t say boo to us never mind ask if we wanted another pint or if we wanted to order food. During the time we were sitting there, we noted more people come in, order drinks and look at menues, and the staff were just standing there talking amongst themselves, we could see into the kitchen and it appeared that the kitchen staff were just standing there waiting for orders to come in. We talked to the manager about the problem, he said they were busy. They weren’t busy and it seemed that the manager could give a rats ass about the situation. REALLY staff, take some social classes and pick up a clue from time to time and do your job. But then again, who am I to know about business!

Most expensive pub in Delta!. My husband and I used to come on a regular basis ~ that is until they raised the price of beer to $6.25 a pint! This is the MOST expensive pub in Delta! Even with the MORE points it is too expensive for a night out! I will take my entertainment dollars elsewhere for the next little while! Hopefully my friends will join me as well. We are not a pub in downtown Vancouver. Even a pub in Stamps Landing is cheaper than the Lion. Until the prices go down, I would not recommend this pub!
I was at the delta lion again yesterday, and the service was terrible. The absent waitress was unfriendly and provided a very low level of service. She seemed like being there was a hassle. If you don’t mind serving yourself at the bar, this place might work for you. However, there were only about 15 people in the pub, and we watched the ‘server ‘ socialize most of the time over at the bar. Delta lion service sucks. Don’t go there.
