Newest pub/food chain to open in Kelowna. Opened for only about a month. Service was timely and friendly. A Baird menu from traditional North American foods to Asian/World influences. Shared a plate of Calamari. Was delicious, better than most. I had the fish & chicken tacos. I had to special order to have both. They were tasty. The sauce was on the spicy side (but I like that). The real surprise was the variety of side choices offered. Not just fries or salad, but many others. I chose the Edamame which was served with a spicy dipping sauce that I again enjoyed.I would return there again!
We visited Browns today for a family lunch. Having been to other locations I knew what to expect and was quite looking forward to seeing how our newest hotspot would fare! I / we were not disappointed!! We did have to wait for a table but we sat in the patio area by the fire while we waited. We were seated shortly and from beginning to end we were impressed. The service was wonderful and promt. The food was impressive for all of us. Our orders included: The Hickory Burger, Fish Tacos with salad, Steak Sandwich, Pad Thai and a Beef Dip. As the manager was making his rounds he stopped to check how our meal was! This place is not for someone who wants a quite meal. It is a social house and the atmosphere is fun and entertaining. My only complaint would be the parking. We had to park across the road and down a side street as the only avail stalls were marked 30 or 60 min parking. I’m looking forward to more great visits and some fantastic food and drinks!
