My wife came here as a kids so we always end up visiting whenever we’re in the area. With that said, I’ve never been overly excited about it. There fare is standard breakfast food with the Dutch touch. Pancakes (pannekoek), eggs, hashbrowns – it’s nothing new. I decided to try their lunch menu this most recent visit and ordered a double patty burger with kettle chips and dip. The burger was so-so, meat wasn’t spectacular, on par with a burger you can put together at home. The kettle chips and dip were actually surprisingly good. The dip was a caramelized onion/sour cream dip so it had a creamy/savory/sweet mix that really hit the spot. Aside from the food the service was brutal. They were busy and it took forever for everything. we found ourselves waiting a while to get waters, then waiting a while again to have someone come takes orders, then waiting again for food. At one point mid meal I asked for a refill on my water and by the time we had paid and were leaving my glass was still empty. Overall this place is a try once to say you did and then not again.
I had the pleasure of visiting both locations while visiting Kelowna and had the strawberry cheesecake gluten free pannekoeken both times because it was amazing. The service was fantastic at both locations, coffee was great, bathrooms were clean and I really like the large gluten free menu they have. Highly recommended!
Menh. Mediocre breakfast with a slight potato pancake twist? Add high prices and shitty access; whoever designed the Capri Centre should be fired. It’s a disaster of commercial facility design. If you’re going to charge these prices for breakfast, it better be exceptional. And it’s not. Service was equally mediocre, which is typical in Kelowna, unfortunately.
The food looks better than it tastes. The prices are expensive considering the flavours aren’t there. Big portions but they should definitely work on their recipes.
Great breakfast. I have never been disappointed. Would love to return.
Mmeehhh. Not great food, edible at best. Service was friendly and fast but for the price, the food was okay and nothing more. We won’t go back.
Come again? Perhaps, once in a while. Food: (Breakfast) – OKAY/ AVERAGEAtmosphere: – AVERAGEService: – OKAYPrice: $$$ – AVERAGE
