Delicious pub fare with a classy twist! To start I had the Mac and cheese balls. So different and very delicious. Next I had the fish and chips. The fish could have had a lighter fry as it was slightly greasy, but the fish was light and buttery. What was amazing was the house coleslaw. The addition of cranberry and sunflower seeds put it over the top. This east coast girl had a fish craving satisfied. If you are a sweet and salty fan have the house made warm brownie with ice cream and caramel. Topped with a little sea salt makes it an amazing desert. Love that they have all local brews on tap as well. Love the Tree Mellow Moon. Will definitely be back!
Used to be fun but it’s gone way downhill. Forget about eating there, the food is atrocious. Truly terrible. Staff is stuck up and rude. In the end it is what it is.
Don’t go here for breakfast. I’m not a picky eater but came here for brunch last Sunday and it was the worst I’ve ever had. We had to get our own menus as the servers were non existent. Then when we decided, the servers ignored us, and we had to flag them down. Food took at least 45 minutes to come, with both orders done wrong. Eggs Benedict missing hollandaise, and the breakfast platter missing bacon. Both plates tasted mediocre..In the time it took for us to get our meal, another table sat down at Least 10 ,minutes after us and had eaten their burger and had paid and left the restaurant before us getting our meal. Another table walked out in frustration due to the long waits. Given their breakfast menu only has 4 items, I have no idea what would justify the long waits. I never write reviews, but had such a terrible experience here I felt compelled to.
Terrible place to eat. Food is really nothing special and just plain bad. Good place to have a few drinks though!
Coming back!. Stopped in Jan 18th to see a local band. We found a cozy little booth for the 4 of us and had a great time. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I was the designated driver, and I still managed to have fun, sitting there sipping on my diet coke. Some facebook pictures seem to indicate that I had a GREAT time at Doc’s on Halloween as well. Well done, guys!
Better with time. I always loved this place but it started going down hill about two years ago. So I only ever came around to drink and nothing more, but over the past year the owners have really turned this place around and brought it back to its former glory. Gotta love the signature DOC Caesars
Cozy. Love coming here when it’s busy. the service is fantastic, bartender remembers my drink. the food is alright, sometimes it can take a while to get it. Servers are attractive but not dressed like whores. this place is a breath of fresh air in Kelowna.
