I’ve stopped in here quite a few times. It is conveniently located on Harvey, aka Hwy 97 in central Kelowna with free parking on the north side. Warning – it is a favourite stop for the tour bus crowd. When they’re in the house, service grinds to a crawl and is virtually non existent for the individual tables. I’d avoid it if you see the bus in the parking lot. Having said that, the dim sum is ordered from a simple check off menu and comes fresh from the kitchen to order. The food comes slowly even when the place isn’t busy, I believe because it’s made to order. The dumpling are tasty and portions are good. Today, unfortunately my sticky rice was not up to standard so I dropped my review points by .5 to reflect. OMG, here comes the tour bus gang…must go.
Disgusting. Disgusting food.we ordered it ,picked it up,took it home ,ate a couple bites and threw it out…waste of $60.00.never will go back ….unedable food,slimy,greasy,smelly,flavorless,just the worst chinese food ever don’t waste your money.that restaurant has gone downhill big time YUCK!
Brithday dinner. We were there for a brithday dinner dec 12 , the waiter had such a dirty shirt on , the Chinese cookies were rancid ,will not go there again ,
Always delicious. We eat here at least twice a month for lunch and every thing has always been very good . Sometimes the service is slow but it’s understandable when they are busy. Staff are very friendly and helpful.From Westbank couple.
Delish…. :P. Although Dragon did not have any individual combos. we had a combo for two and shared. I enjoyed the spring rolls. they dont make them like that in Prince George. all in all it was a good meal. we had to take left overs. but thats a bonus for later.
Yuck!. My wife brought some home for dinner. Egg foo young was more like soup than individual pancakes.My first mouthful of beef and broccoli I spat out because in was not beef but fat. I phoned them and told them I would be returning the food tomorrow. They said ok as long as I don’t eat more than 80% of the dish. Don’t worry about that. Oh and the noodle dish and almond chicken- mediocre.
It was the slowest dim sum I have ever had. Each dish came out individually. Took over an hour for the last dish to finally get to the table!
