Staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. The woman who took our order even brought my boyfriend a small bowl of tomato soup, on the house, to dip his ham and cheese sandwich in. Overall, good experience here!
Super disappointed in my lunch at the Little Hobo. Came in today to try the beef dip, got it to go. Got home to realize there was no au jus in the bag, and that it is NOT a beef dip. This sandwich is awfully mis advertised and it ended up in the trash unfortunately. Anyone looking for a beef dip should know that this is at best a sloppy roast beef po boy or a pot-roast sandwich with a somewhat sweet flavour, there is no sliced or shaved beef, just moist broken down pot roast or something to that effect on a bun. Giving it a 3 because the cheese steak wasn’t bad, and the meat on that sandwich is much closer to what should have been on the beef dip.
The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and efficient. This has been a great start to a relaxing vacation! Definitely start with the soup!
We stopped here purely from the reviewed others, as this is our first visit into Kelowna. Glad we trusted the reviews. We had a wonderful experience for our first stop in Kelowna. They had delicious food, fun atmosphere, and impeccable service. There’s nothing more to be said than, go try it for yourselves. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I’m not even a biscuit person and I ended up having one. It was beyond delicious. The Smoky Cream of Tomato soup was amazing. The Beef Stroganoff soup, that’s right, you read it right. The Beef Stroganoff soup was mouth watering. The cookies that the kids got for free were amazing! The cookies were big, soft, and melt in ur mouth yummy. Everything was great! Honestly, just go try it. You can obviously tell that locals come in and out on a daily basis. The staff knew people by name and will most likely ask you yours as well. That’s the added value that you get at this precious place. Enjoy!
This is the best customer service experience I’ve had in the last decade. Crystal is an absolute peach. Soups and sandwiches are great. But do yourself a real favor and go on Tuesday Perogy day. Those little gems are a hand pressed Labour of Love. Unbelievable that this level of service exists in 2016. The owner shook our hands when we came in for my moms bday and provided a free cookie. Great experience. Will be back asap.

Always changing soup and sandwich specials, with lots to choose from!The hubby and wife- owner duo are some of the most laid back, helpful, and genuine business owners, that I’ve had the pleasure of being served by!
Beauty little greasy spoon with stellar soups and sammies. This place reeks character. A go-to for lunch when I’m downtown! Their breakfast club is particularly kickass!
