Having never had dry rub ribs I’m not sure I’d ever try them again. These dry rub ribs where juicy, but really dry!! After slathering them in BBQ sauce they were a bit better. but if I return here I may just order something different all together.Coleslaw was ok but nothing great.Potatoes salad was tangy and flavourful. Baked beans tasted a bit bland and watery. Corn bread was good but a little dry.Really enjoy the Decor of this place. Ordering however was a little weird. You had to go up to the cash and pay for your food before you’ve even tried it. There also seams to be no wait staff.I’d be willing to try this place again but will not be going out of my way to do so.

Been roaming around downtown trying new types of food. So I decided to give the fire-dusted calamari a shot. It’s a huge basket for someone eating alone, I wish they had a smaller serving. Anyway, it was quite a delight, got stuffed just with a starter! Top it with the Honey Kolsch and my day was made! Definitely worth a visit!

I’m not a connoisseur when it comes to BBQ food, but I do know what tastes good and what doesn’t. The pulled pork was moist and tender, and the BBQ sauce that accompanied the pork was tasty! I liked the addition of coleslaw to the sandwich to give it another texture and to cut the sweetness of the BBQ sauce. Unfortunately the beans and coleslaw needs more work. I found the beans to have too much of a charbroiled taste for my liking, and the coleslaw could have used more salt and sourness. The fries were crisp and tasty – I like the salty-sweet flavour it had. It’s not often I dream about food, but the pulled pork sandwich definitely left a positive lasting impression. I can’t wait to return to Kelowna to have this sandwich again!

I had a hankering for some delicious pulled pork and this place absolutely delivered. Plus the fries were some of the best I’ve had. We’ll be back for sure!

Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Food was decent – fries were a little too salty, but the portion sizes were quite large. Service was surprisingly good, considering it is an order at the counter style restaurant. While I didn’t feel it was good enough to consider going regularly, it would certainly satisfy a BBQ craving in a pinch.

An institution in downtown Kelowna Memphis Blues has been serving up delicious BBQ for years. A personal favourite is the brisket, which is perfectly cooked, juicy and always deliciously flavourful. But why just have one? Get the combo plate and choose two meats along with some delicious sides and cornbread (also delicious). And if you’re really hunger there are a variety of sharing platters that cover just about everything on the menu. My mouth is watering just thinking about it; give it a try!
