Good God what terrible service. We came in for drinks and appies and to watch the game. After waiting 10 minutes for our sever to even approach our table for drinks, we told her our plan was to order appies 1 at a time all evening. Our wings game out quickly, they were nothing special, waited a good 10 mins for her to come back to take our next order. Pot stickers were also nothing special. We’ve now been waiting 25 minutes and she hasn’t come back to ask if we want anything. She’s standing over there chatting with the other servers though. There are about 4 people working, 5 tables of people and a few at the bar so not too busy to come check on us. Screw it, we are just going to pay the bill and leave. Shame because the location is great.
Great affordable place with an Irish beer and good food. And the view is the best in the area. Save yourself some money other restaurants around here. They’re overpriced. This place is great for lunch
We love this place! Every time we come into Kelowna from Vernon, we go here. The staff are friendly, efficient, and most accommodating. We love the music and decor. You can smoke on the outside patio. All the food that we have tried is awesome (spring rolls, prawns, garlic ribs, mussels, fish and chips, steak sandwich). Thank you Roses, wish you would open a location in Vernon. 🙂
Loved it here! Such a cute little place and you get a great view! I had the southwest chicken salad and it was great. Wish I got some other food (everyone’s food looked so yummy) but I was stuffed from the salad. Service was ok. You can even smoke in the outside patio.
This is a good place to have a drink along the water
A friend recommended Rose’s Pub for its steak sandwich lunch special, and honestly it was such great value for what you get – steak, onion rings, fries and a Caesar salad, all for $7.95. Normally I wouldn’t recommend the sandwich if you’re paying full price (which is double), but considering you can get a hamburger meal at McDonald’s for the same price, this is a much better option for lunch.
By the water this place was great. Staff were pleasant and got beverages out quickly. Each time I have come here we’ve had a lot of fun. No hesitation I would return.
