Came here for dinner one night with my boyfriend at around 8pm and the place was completely empty so service was quick. Prices were reasonable and the food was very good. We split a couple things and each got our own main – came out to around $42 with tip. Definitely would come back here again if I’m in the city!
I am obsessed with this restaurant, the food is sooooo good. Everything is fresh and full of flavour. My favourites are definitely the Korean BBQ tacos, The Sweet Potato Noodle, Bibimbap Bulgogi Beef and the Bulgogi beef dish.If you’re fond of asian flavours but haven’t yet experienced Korean food definitely give Soban a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
Chicken tacos and sweet potato noodle dish are great. Staff are very nice. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in something different.
I ate here for my pre-marathon dinner. Fantastic!!! The veggie bibimbap was outstanding – the one in the stone bowl. The staff was friendly & attentive, and made sure I got the vegan goodness I was after. I highly recommend Soban’s if you are anywhere near Kelowna. I’ll certainly be back!
Hopped in to try the Sake and Ramen. The Sake was served in a pretty vessel. The presentation of the food was really pleasing. Will return to try the green tea ice cream some day! The ramen tasted wonderful. And the sake was dizzying!
Soban has a delightful combination of quick and delicious bowls that are easy on your wallet! They brought out a trio of pickled vegetables, along with miso soup with my meal.My new favorite; Bibimbap bowl – with tofu and the pepper paste sauce. Oh and matcha ice cream to finish
The pork bulgogi was insanity, melts in my mouth, bursting with flavors. Spring rolls fresh and crisp, pork dumplings full of amazing stuff and fried to perfection, the ramen to die for, rice was cooked perfectly with nice clumps, vegetables crisp and tasty…I can go on and on.Prices are amazingly reasonable for the large portions, service is great, staff is authentically Korean and super friendly and pleasant. I cannot make a choice on what to get as everything looks so great on the menu….Just go here and try it, soooooo gooood!!
