I typically stop in here a few times a year when I’m I town. The Mediterranean salad is really good, and not your typical fare. I do find the accompanying bun to be rather tough in texture (has been better in the past). They make their own lemonade and iced tea, both are refreshing although a bit pricey for the portion size. The dining area is Spartan, and the place feels more like a cafe than a restaurant. Typical of most eateries on Bernard, they also have a few tables outside in the summer. All in all a good place for lunch once in a while.

The breakfast sandwich was delicious, hot and had the best bacon I’ve ever had. The coffee I ordered was foamy for a latte, but I’ll forgive that. Service was friendly and attentive. All in all I really enjoyed a quick breakfast here.

A great little sandwich place and bakery. Had the feature Reuben sandwich with the broccoli cheddar soup and a house made iced tea. Would recommend it!

Disappointed. Always have had great sandwiches and lunch here so was really disappointed in today’s meal. The place was full so we ordered to go. Waited quite awhile for our breakfast, and when we received it we went to eat in our car. My breakfast was two tiny pieces of hard toast, one and a barely half pieces of bacon, and two eggs that were undercooked. My boyfriends eggs Benny was tasteless and also undercooked. For spending 20 bucks on breakfast it kind of felt like a joke. Will not go back.

Poor take out. I have not been into the bread co. For quite some time so I thought I’d pop in and try them out again, I ordered the chicken parm on chiabatta bread. I waited a few minutes for it, which I expect for fresh food. When the girl brought it to me it was in a bag on an angle, so I figured it didn’t have to be held level, I walked off with it. When I opened it up I was dissapointed, cheese and sauce was stuck to the lid, proving it should have been held level. And the portion was small for the $10 I spent. I wish it had been brought to me in the same fashion as they would serve it to theyre dine in guests.

Bad Service. I waited at the Bakery counter for a long time and did not get served and there was no one else there. l am generally a patient person but i do have my limits. I will give it a chance again this week as i am going there for lunch with friends. And they are always out of Cinnamon Buns!
