This tired old house needs a lot of tlc to the decor to support the fine dining prices. Our food was good (not great but good) although not very hot but…the flower baskets on the patio are coming off the walls, the window coverings and paint are way too dated and only two tables had table cloths which also took away from the ambiance. It was busy so I hope they use these reviews to take a look and hopefully they will step up.

I had a lovely dinner out at the Yellow House while on vacation with friends a few weeks ago. Our server was very attentive when it came to my friends dietary needs, helping her make an informed choice. I thoroughly enjoy the lamb dish. The music although a tad loud was also enjoyable. The staff was very polite and friendly. I did however, as did others at my table find it unprofessional that two of the servers were dressed in track pants.
Great Dinner and Service. We had dinner with friends at the Yellow House on Aug 17, 2013. This was a Saturday evening at 6:30. All four dinners were awesome, the appys were amazing as well as dessert and coffee, drinks. Service was perfect! When I woke up Sunday I wanted to go back for lunch. First time there since newer owners and we already have reservations to go back.

Food was alright. I got the Snapper: the fish was perfectly cooked however the taste was ruined by the saltiness of the Cajun spice. Way too salty and am disappointed since the fish itself was perfect. Veggies were good. The atmosphere is okay but outdated and tacky and the male server was amazing, waitress was way too pushy. Considering the amount of food given, the price way too much. I wouldn’t come back again.
Romantic Atmosphere….. My Husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at the YELLOW HOUSE last evening. Very cute place. The attention to detail was very nice… the staff very friendly. We had a GROUPON coupon which allowed two entrees and an appitizer… we opted for the Crab Cakes mmmmmm- very yummie (will have to make this dish at home.. the side salad that came with it was delicious, a little spicey which I loved. My husband ordered the AAA beef tenderloin, and I the 1/2 rack of Lamb..was cook perfectly.. I was very impressed with all the different veggies that came on the plate, also cooked perfectly.. roast potatoes beets, carrot, green beans, sugar peas, spaggetti squash,button mushrooms enoki mushrooms gorgonzola cheese.. yum and yum… i couldn’t finish my 1/2 rack so it came home with me.. We will be back…
