we went for the first time tonight. i had the duck & my husband had steak; unfortunately i found both meat extremely chewy. in fact, my jaw is still sore. the presentation is great & super enthusiastic waiter! for dessert, we had the hazelnut cake, that was delicious.
We went for the first time last night. We ordered a lobster bisque each which was excellent and then the squid/ octopus, the fries and the risotto shrimp. I wouldn’t order the octopus dish again but the others were quite good.Reading the reviews about this place I think I went at the wrong time/ wrong time of year. We were early and as we were leaving the specials changed, one scallop appetizer, that sounded good. A lot of the reviews talk of dishes that were not even an option for us. I will go again but if I had to choose today I think Bouchons next door is better.
Fantastic restaurant! Interior is nicely decorated creating a chic and intimate atmosphere. There’s construction happening across the street from this place and yet you don’t notice it once you’re inside the restaurant. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was amazing! I had the roasted duck breast with beans, kale, potato rosti, and turnips and it as absolutely delicious. There were a number of components to the dish and they all came together very well. Dessert (white chocolate mousse with blueberry jelly and apricots) was also very tasty. This was the best meal I had on this trip to Kelowna/Naramata, and I hope to have the pleasure of eating here again.
Great Choice in Kelowna. We were just in Kelowna for one day and it looked like there were several good choices. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone (adults only) for great food and service. Our server, Genevieve I think, was an excellent host and a great help with wine and food choices. A very good meal and enjoyable evening!
Small, intimate restaurant that feels likes family as soon as you walk in. Menu small but all food is delicious. Chef cooks to perfection. A must stop while in Kelowna.
It was decent that’s all. I love top quality food and eat out many times a year. This was in no way outstanding as all the top rated reviews would suggest. I had a beef curry that had very little flavor. I added salt believe it or not.
This is a very special place. West Coast decor, fresh, local and intriguing food, and some terrific wine selections. The vegetarian selections do not disappoint!
