Considering this little spot is out of the way and lacks a bit in the decor I would definitely recommend checking it out. The food was good. There was a unique selection of sushi on the menu. We tried the tropical role and loved it!!

Best Sushi in the Okanagan. We go every week and they never disappoint. Anytime we have visitors in town we bring them there and they are always blown away at how amazing the sushi is and say it’s the best they’ve ever had! Really friendly couple who own and work there. By far the best sushi in Kelowna and the Okanagan.
Very good!. I went to Yama kitchen last night and had a great, filling meal for 2 adults for under $60. The tempura prawns were some of the best I have ever had (and I LOVE tempura prawns and consider myself a bit of an aficionado). I also had the crazy roll and another spicy roll- they were both great. The nigiri were good as well, not outstanding but good. Our waitress was very attentive and very nice. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Kelowna.
My new favourite sushi place in Kelowna. I now consider this my regular Sushi restaurant. I stop in for lunch at least once a week. I cant say enough about it. I’m sure they would be much busier if they weren’t so far off the beaten path, but thats better for locals anyways. Why fight for parking downtown and wait for seating if your just in the mood for some quiet, and fantastic sushi? The Mountain roll is a meal in itself. I find the prices great and the food is really top notch. always fresh and plated like a fancy New York place. Extremely pleasant staff. The chef often comes out to check that the customers are happy. Vey impressed
