Truly terrible customer service. We ordered a platter of food for delivery. I explained this was for 6 people and when it was delivered the following happened:1) It was TINY. Enough for max two people2) Total costs came to almost $100 so it was astronomically expensive3) I called to enquire about whether this was a mistake and was pretty much berated on the phone and called a liar when I explained that we’d run the fact it was for 6 people past a manager4) The restaurant flat out refused any form of a refund.I and my party of 10 people that witnessed this will never be eating at Yamas again.
Good service and food with fair prices. Service was good and food was great. We had kalamari dinner, roast lamb and some caviar pate to start. I wasn’t sure if bread was given at the beginning and we were so hungry we just went ahead for the $6 pate. Portions were big but were priced accordingly. Don’t except vancouver stephos prices here but portions were worth it. Service was very good. If I come back I’d replace the caviar pate with humus.
Gary Trepanier – Kelowna resident. I am usually not one to complain about a restaraunt meal and I have eaten here before and it was good. However last night i dined at Yamas and ordered the Domathes entree. They were terrible. Mushy and bitter. I guess should have complained at the time. Not sure if I will go back. The service was good but the food not so much. Disappointing.
Very good.. We have eaten here a few times and always enjoy it. The lamb regardless of the dish is always spot on and cooked well. Service has been excellent, especially the last time we went in late May.
Yum. Have had moussaka a few times from here. Love it.
The lamb was SO good here! Huge portions too- I had to take some home because I couldn’t finish it all! The restaurant was very slow(only 1 other table) when (my friends and I) went in to eat, so dont understand why the service was SO slow. A round of 3 drinks took nearly 20 minutes to get to the table! Avgolemono soup was absolutely delicious. If the food wasn’t as good as it is, I would not come back, but it was fabulous! 5 stars for food 1star for service.
