Tasteless, generic — extremely disappointed. We ordered take-out (Cook Street location) and it took over an hour for delivery on a Wednesday night. I’ve had better Phad Thai at chain restaurants, there was barely any chicken and it completely lacked flavour or heat. It tasted like a generic jarred sauce – I was truly disappointed. My child had the Pad See-ew which was EW! the noodles were soggy and disgusting and there was absolutely no flavour and again, hardly any chicken. There are better, more authentic thai places close by so Little Thai Place (Cook St) will not have our business again.
Music unbearable, food not reflected in this review.. The music coming from the kitchen was turned up so loud it was shaking the whole place. In addition to the music it was generally too loud due to poor acoustics and loud venting.I have not encountered a restaurant this unbearably loud in my life.
Awesome vegan curry. All their curries can be made vegan and all are incredibly delicious. The pad Thai is amazing but it’s so oily it makes me sick. Totally wonderful place besides that. The employees are great at their jobs as well.
Out standing service and reliable real food which is consistent each time for its good taste. I can only say good things about this restaurant and its staff! Always look forward to to Thai night, best chicken satay and peanut sauce in the city! Delicious curries and sticky coconut dessert rice, amazing pad Thai that, the noodle box does not even compare (and there the ones who apparently specializes in noodles.) The two ladies who run the front are amazing! Claire, and I am so sorry I forgot her name! But sweetest mum who just went on maternity leave ( excuse my baby brain!) They know my name and have made me feel so at home either when going in to the restaurant with my family or, just ordering in! Thank you for making my Thai experience amazing everything Thaime ;P
Not great. The service was great, very friendly and quick. The food we ordered was mediocre at best. Veggie spring rolls were decent but the pad thai was very sugary. We ordered hot for our spice level and were warned sternly they make it very hot only to find that our meals were not spicy at all (maybe it was just over powered by all the sugar). We couldn’t finish our meals and gave the doggy bag away. My wife is still recovering hours later.
AWESOME SERVICE. I live in James Bay and I order delivery every week. Never get disappointed in food quality and service. Order was on time as quoted and just made my night completed. THANKS!!
Gross. After waiting over an hour for delivery, the food I received was inedible. It tasted like microwaved dog food, and thats exactly who ended up eating it.
