Ive visited this place a couple times before and have held off writing a review till now. It’s such a unique place.First off, and because we’re here, the food is really good and a fantastic value.Yesterday I had the pulled pork slider special and it was THREE good sized sandwiches loaded with tasty/tangy pulled pork and a heaping of obviously freshly made coleslaw. And it came with a side, I picked the salad and it too was a generous portion.I’ve eaten here before and was impressed then too.But wait there’s more. Way more. This place is a way unique kind of community hub. There’s live music 5 nights a week. (note: lots of harder faster playing bands?!). A drop in open stage in Sunday’s. A Karaoke night. West Coast Swing(actually, and to be more specific, it looked like LindyHop/East Coast swing to me) dancing every second Sunday. An attached small but well stocked and priced beer/wine/liquor store.Oh yes, a big dance floor, a black clothed pool table and they have one big screen tv where they will play whatever sports game is going on.This is an example where the sum of all parts ends up being something special, in this case a really great add to the entire community.I can’t be more happy that there are still locals willing to put so many things together then manage same.Cheers.Update: with subsequent visits Ive found the food has never matched that first visit.Downgraded my rating to 3.5.This place gets a solid five for doing so much for the local social/music scene.

I’ve only gotten take out from here before and it was quick and scrumptious! The staff were really nice and friendly and even offered us drinks while we waited for our food.

Most delicious poutine….. I like this poutine soooo much, better than a certain qubecquoi restaurant in town…. Food is always fresh and tasty with quality ingredients at a reasonable price. Service isn’t great, but the servers are hilarious once you get to know them. I come at LEAST once a week, you should check out the open mic on a monday night.

Dreaming of going back. My husband and I dropped in for brunch on a Saturday morning. I ordered the huevos and he ordered the bunwich. I really dreaming about that crispy, cheesey goodness. My husband ordered the fruit salad instead of the hash browns. It was a lovely serving size.
