Great bagels and cream cheese! Though this isn’t a restaurant – it’s a bakery to go and pick up your bagels for the week. Love how fresh and yummy their bagels are.
This place is by far the best place to get bagels. But, you must get there early!! They are preservative free, so they aren’t going to be fluffy for days like store bought, mass produced, full of crap ones. Like any baked goods, they are best eaten while fresh – with cream cheese, of course. If you can go at 7am, do it. Its worth the early wake up.
Bagel lover. In 20 years of buying bagels from this location, I have never received bad service. Sometimes it is straightforward service but that is not a complaint. Given my personal experience and reading the good reviews of Mt. Royal Bagels, the unhappy people are likely unhappy about a lot of things in life and feel the need to take it out on others. Complainers say more about themselves than they do about a business. Most of us reading reviews will rule out the best and the worst review and go with the average so it is usually best if the employer does not respond to the complainers. That said, the employee who defended the boss shows just how much this place is worth visiting.
Victoria bagels fit for royalty. Best Montreal style bagels in Victoria. These smaller, denser bagels make for a crispier, chewier toast. Cinnamon, fibre-grain and everything varieties are very tasty toasted, un-toasted, and with or without cream-cheese! Never had a bad experience with the service staff – quick and efficient, no frills, good quality bagels.
Mm cream cheese. I love their bagels & cream cheese. A treat for me that I indulge in every now & then. It does feel like the staff act like they’re doing us a favour by helping in the buy&sell transaction, but I don’t care, as long as I get my yummy bagels!
Bad bad bad. . I wish that I had took the time to read the reviews them before I bought the deal through teambuy. Mont royal bagels , this deal is a waste of money . They do not allow you to choose the bagels you want. Some bagels are hot and fresh while others are hard and burnt .Finally the staff who work there are not very friendly. Never again will I go there and I think team buy should refund my purchase or make a donation on my behalf for the money and time I wasted going there .the bagels are not good at all, can’t be compared to fairmont , not even close .
Rude is for sure. I work in this industry and i love their bagels but if i call you to find out your holiday hours and you say 7am and i say whoa that’s early just to sympathies with that and you give me a bitchy yeah its a bakery thats not good service
