Food here was above average I’d say. I would give this place a 3.3 if possible. I ordered Bowtie Santorini, considered a gourmet pasta at Romeo’s. I enjoyed it but towards the end I kind of got tired of the taste, but not that tired. Pizza on the menu sounded pretty good, and my friend ordered one which looked not too bad. Though my other friend found a hair in his pasta. Luckily they were kind enough to offer him a new one. Recommend this place if to anyone who likes pasta and pizza. Pasta was a bit pricey but some are decently affordable. Definitely want to come back here to try out there pizza
Joshua HuellerFood took a long time. Had a nice time eating it. Wishing there were more tortia chips tho.I could go back there again, if I felt like it. Idk depends how I feel yenno.
A nice greasy pie. I’ve never gone into a Romeo’s to eat, and don’t have the desire to, but when I’m ordering pizza delivery they’re my go to for a satisfying greasy pie!
The glory days of Romeos are gone.. I remember back in the 90s when I worked for Romeos,it was the best place in town to get some good delivery and one of the nicer places to go dine.there was a reason that back in the day the food costed a little more, because it was better and tasted better.ordered up a couple gyros tonight, the gyros served in tillicum mall are better.then I ordered a Romeos classic,2 lasagne with meat sauce.the recepie is different, the noodles themselves are lighter and not as good, the dish was dry and salty.fair amount of cheese, but why did they change a good thing.i spent including tip for the driver, who seemed a decent fellow,60$. At lease I was around in those glory days and had more than my fill of Romeos food back then because I think the taste, quality is way out of proportion for what your going to pay.go to Denny’s,you’ll have a better dinner.
Very disappointed. Confirmed a booking for a friends bday dinner the night before for about ten of us. Most of the party had arrived at least 5 minutes before our booking and when the hostess was approached she was like a dear in headlights. Her body language implied she had no idea what i asked her (a general idea about how long our table would be is a reasonable question, considering that we had already been waiting 20 minutes). The ignorrance of any of our attempts to understand what was happening was barely patched by an offering of a booth so we could have drinks while we waited for our reservation. It was closer to a 40 minute wait by the time we got our table. Although the food was indeed great, it took way too long to be served. The poor woman who was serving us was trying her best to be timely, but she failed to keep her cool. When one of our party members informed her that we were ready to order she whipped around and said in a very frustrated tone if we could ‘hold on a mintue’. !!!? No wonder she was ready to pull her hair out, she was inadvertently eyeballed by a good number of doddly coworkers who could have very well helped her out (it would be beneficial to mention that i have at least 2 years of food service experience, and dear god, a good manager knows when their servers genuinely need a hand). This establishment has shown that they either dont care about who they hire, or purposely neglect to train employees on what it means to be professional. Not going here again.
Good service, mediocre food. Excellent service staff…….courteous and attentive. BUT had the veal parmesan at $39.90 for two….expecting quality. Vegetables were good, but I’ve had more flavor in a McDonald’s 99c hamburg. Can only be described as POOR quality meat. Cheese was good, but otherwise poor meal. Very disappointing, especially at this price. Won’t be back. check # 270540-1 server Cassandra
Almost the Worst. I have had worse pizza in Victoria. In fact, I have given up on pizza in Victoria. I ordered from Romeos twice. The first time was a bit disappointing and very expensive – $35.00 plus tax plus tip. The crust was so-so, the toppings no-no. The delivery was good. The pizza was mediocre at best. It wasn’t properly cooked. The dough was undercooked, the sauce like ordinary tomato sauce from a can. But, Hey, try it one more time. Worse. The crust was old and hard. The cheese was over baked and the tomato sauce almost not there. Maybe a good thing given the previous experience. Twice was too much and I won’t do it again.
