Really enjoy dinners at this restaurant! The ambiance is great and the food is amazing. The best pizza in Vancouver with fresh ingredients and a truly Italian taste. The ceasar salad was phenomenal and the Nutella pizza for dessert is a must!
For food I would give Alberello a 5/5. You can’t get a better authentic italian pizza than the 3 we had here tonight. We had salmon (well we are in BC), ham and arugula, and 4 cheeses. All as good as possible. We followed up with the nutella chocolate pizza which was cold and a calzoni type affair. Very different to the chocolate pizza I last had in San Diego which was hot with chocolate and cheese. Both delicious in their own way.Staff were super friendly and reserved us a table when we called to say we were on our way. I just docked the restaurant a smidgen of a point because its quite small and has a big screen which although muted was distracting for our son. We will definitely be coming back though.
The wine glass smelled meet …. I was in Alberello for dinner yesterday. It is really difficult to criticize a place or restaurant with lots of good comments that I can see from other clients, in this page. But, I am sure, if their success is important for them, so my critics will improve their quality. The wine glass smelled bad (meet and fat…), of course I asked her to change it, and she did it, but the smell stayed on my nose, and I can’t forget it….Also it made me more careful for the next course, which was a Napoli salad:The Napoli salad was not fresh, and not a good quality Balsamic vinegar is used for it….So it made me even more nervous for the last course, which should have been Pizza:Pizza was much more better compare to wine glass, to salad, and to the service. A real Italian, tasty, crispy pizza with proportional amount of herbs and ingredients, not high, not low…Inattention to the wine, not fresh salad, and not good quality vinegar, put a negative memery on my mind, and destroyed all good taste of Pizza…. They are new in this area, and I am sure they will improve the quality of services. Just I hope they can do it earlier than losing their clients. For the same reason, I really like to give them another chance.
I’ve been looking for a great, thin crust pizza in North Van for a while. The crust is fantastic and the ingredients are fresh.
