Update 4 November 2017: The owner has contacted me, apologized and said staff were advised (I’m assuming to be more lenient as far as the breakfast cutoff time). I really appreciated the contact and will definitely visit. I’m still unable to comment about the food or drinks :-)I was there literally 2 minutes past noon and the place was completely empty. When I asked for a breakfast item, I was told they couldn’t make it because breakfast ended at 12. I do understand rules but I also believe that you can bend them a little bit especially when it’s only 2 minutes past and you have a single customer in the house. This is definitely one way to lose prospective customers.I can’t comment about the quality of food or coffee because I didn’t try either.

This cafe used to be named differently so perhaps management changed. Service was less than lukewarm; barely passable. I recall service being much friendlier with the previous name. The croissant did not have a crispy exterior. The cappuccino tasted watered down and a little burnt. The slice of cake I had was pretty good though. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
The espresso is one of the best in north Vancouver. The baking and breakfast frittata are really good too
