I purchased food from this outlet today, April 8/16. It was a 3 meal combo of brown rice, fennugreek mushrooms and meatballs. It was a very generous size. Thank you.What I did find is that is tasted too salty. The spice level was great, but since this food is keep at a safe temperature, how about not using so much salt! Let the customer decide if they want to add salt or not. Better less salty than more salty.So, that means, no salt, when cooking rice, and just a small amount of salt when cooking the other dishes. The spices can take care of flavoring the meal. Thought I’d let you know as this mean is good value for me, but everyone needs to watch their salt intake, unless they work out physically, every day. Good luck to your future.
Great food, but not spicy. This place has great fresh food, and every time I stop by Capilano Mall, it’s the only place I’ll go for lunch. One thing that’s disappointing is that they don’t have any spicy food as most of their food is catered towards the British crowd in North Van. Otherwise, 7/10!

Butter chicken was delicious as was the Mango potatoes. The owners are nice. Very clean space too. Will return to try other options!

I am not kidding!I’m not sure what type of South Asian cuisine this is I think the owners are AfghaniThis is the best of the best when it comes to the Curry lamb, Butter chicken, the lentils, omg and the Fenugreek mushrooms would convert any meatlover to switch. Everything on the menu is delish, nothing will disappoint.The food is so delicious that you would expect to find most of the dishes in a highend establishment like Vijs.Portions are huge!….order the food to go in a takeout dish, because you will only get thru half of it in a sitting.Considering the size of the portions this is an excellent deal. oh..the service is friendly, fast and just nice folks making great food.
