Sandwiches are great. They have a seriously good selection of paninis. I have had several, and they were all delicious, incredible quality of ingredients. they are a delicatessen also, with many tine delicious meats, veges, cheeses and other delectables.they are one of those rare places that know how to make proper coffee too!very friendly staff. I heartily recommend this place!
Awesome Deli. Walked by this place a while ago and decided to stop in today. was treated to a tour of the products which was great. best Hungarian salami I’ve had in a long while, fig spread delicious, hummus, delicious, haven’t tried the pesto yet but betting it’s delicious too. this is high quality food and major find on Lonsdale. I’m definitely looking forward to going back.
Hidden gem for North Shore food lovers. Finally. No need to drive all the way to Hastings or Commercial anymore…Great variety of deli items (try the pesto hummus, it made me weep with gratitude) and excellent personal service. Instant comfort – locals were visiting and chatting with the owner, throwing recommendations back and forth. This place has soul.Got everything needed for a huge antipasto platter and then some. The owner introduced himself, shook my hand and tossed in a complimentary baguette. Nice. Love it when business owners understand that those little things go a long way. Will definitely be back.
Just had the Maximus grilled panini at Puccini’s Deli…spinach, sun dried tomatoes, real chicken breast pesto, Monterey jack cheese grilled in focaccia bread. Best I’ve had in town! Reminds me of Italy!! Gonna take one out for my hubby!
It’s About Time. The Central Lonsdale area in North Vancouver NEEDS more stores like this. Excellent products, knowledgable staff, great service and the shop has charm. This Deli has improved the Lonsdale area and we need more stores like this.
Oh my goodness that was a good Panini. I went for the Puccini’s special. I want to go back for another one!
Re: Incorrect Measuring. Puccini’s deli is one of the finest Italian deli’s I’ve ever been to. Their prices are fair and comparable to many big chain corporations and they deliver the best customer service on the north shore. When you hand them a backhanded review like that, I only feel the need to set things straight. yes you are being charged for the container, but on the other hand they also have the best prices for their display case items. Their prices in the store easily beat places like Whole Foods and Queensdale market who sell mediocre brands of olive oil for twice as much! By my reasoning, paying 5 cents for a container is an extremely small price to pay in exchange for the great prices and good service. I don’t know why you even brought this up because if you’ve ever been inside a grocery store, I’m fairly sure the deli’s inside of them have always charged for the container. If you want to test this out yourself go over to Queensdale market and get a couple items from the counter. They will charge you for the container and you will be out of even more cash because you didn’t go to Puccini’s!
