I have been a customer for Rex Bakery and have bought many delicacies from them. I called the bakery a week advance to cancel an order for a cake. As I was proceeding to cancel the order, the employee raised his voice over the phone asking for the last name to which I replied, without another word he then hung up on me in the middle of the phone call. I then called back stating that perhaps the call had failed but then was subjected to the same employee raising his voice again and saying to come to the store in person to cancel the order and quickly without another word hung up again. I don’t mind driving from Port Moody to North Vancouver to cancel an order but as a customer I did not deserve this rude and unsettling behavior. I truly was astounded by this form of bad customer service and will not recommend or return to this establishment again.
Best Desserts!. My family and I go to this bakery every time we eat at Cazba across the street. The sweets are AMAZING. Words really cannot describe the treat to the tastebuds you get when you plunge into your little box of persian delicacies! Its informal, and has a nice long table thats just made for you to sit and chat around over your selection of treats and some cardamom tea. I cannot recommend this place enough! I wish it was across the street from me.
Homemade pastries!. This mom/pop shop makes all sorts of mediterranean sweets, mostly focused on yummy Persian pastries. Most of the pastries are smaller sizes and contain a variety of flavors. The sweet rice cookies are awesome!
