Was just introduced to this place the other day and I’m so happy to have found another hidden gem in North Van!The Cafe serves sandwiches, soup and a salad of the day. There’s also a coffee bar that serves everything from Lattes to London Fogs and there is a nice selection of baked goods to accompany them. I definitely had my eye on the marble loaf slices when I walked in but I was too full when I walked out to even think about grabbing one!There is quite a good selection of different types of sandwiches and I was immediately attracted to the Moroccan Chicken Sandwich with Honey Sriracha Aioli. The sandwich was quite large (at $11/sandwich, it’s nice to know you could easily split one between two people) and incredibly filling. The bread was warm and soft and the fillings were plentiful. The sandwich even came with a small side of mini pretzels – cute! Everyone at our table had ordered a different sandwich (4 in total) and each of the ones I sampled were equally delicious.I will definitely be going back to try their Vegetarian sandwich (can’t remember the name of the one now) and a coffee/marble loaf combo 🙂 Definitely give this place a try if you are in the neighbourhood!
Stopped by on a rainy Saturday afternoon for a warm sandwich. I had the pesto chicken sandwich which was lovely. Good portion size and reasonable prices for excellent quality. The staff were welcoming and the place has a good atmosphere. The only thing I would change is that the music was a little loud for my liking and the chairs for the bar at the window are too short. Regardless, I’ll definitely be back for another toasty tasty sandwich!
Best Sandwich Around. If you haven’t been here or heard of this place, drop the sub standard sandwich you are holding and get your butt to s’wich. This is by far the best sandwich in the Greater Vancouver Area. My favorite is the spicy Italian!
Awesome. I’ve been trying lots of local sandwich joints lately and this one is fantastic! Great, friendly service, and the Immaculate Sanchez is a multi-layered-flavor mouthgasm. I will be back!
So good, I couldn’t stop swearing.. A good Cuban is one of the greatest things your palate can experience and S’wich’s Cuban had me swearing under my breathe. The staff are super chill and like promised, seemed to provide a unique experience to each patron who walked through the door. I’ll be back soon!
The most amazing service and coffee i have ever gotten. Folks this place is a real gem! a small hole in the wall, but once you enter this place you are transported to a friendly, warm and above all genuine place that makes you want to come back over, and over and over. Their sandwiches are amazing and they taste even better with their daily soups. Folks, i tell you once you eat one of their sandwiches you will become addicted to them.I really recommend this place because the service is genuine, friendly and above standards. I recommend it because the price is right and because the food is glorious, no exaggeration here.
Sandwiches. Walked in not knowing what to expect and had two of the best sandwiches ever anywhere! Service was great, they were closing up but let us order and eat inside as they cleaned up the cafe. They did not cheap on ingredients and the taste was fabulous!
