Assigning 1 star just because there is no option for a 0! The pizza is not that great but I used to stop by some times for a quick bite on the go and the previous owner was a genuinely nice person. This place seems have moved in to hands of a new management – which comes with increased price and way more attitude. The new person was unbelievably rude…as if he was giving the food away for free and even refused to provide a napkin! Which food place refuses to provide a basic thing like napkins!! I just wonder if he would stop offering plates too! I am NEVER going back again.

Disappointed. The pizza looked great from the window. Nice big slices that looked freshly made. It was strange that once I got my big slice of pepperoni pizza there were only 4 slices of pepperoni in the centre of the slice–none around the edges. Very cheap. Pepperoni pizza should be loaded with pepperoni so that when you slice it, you should accidentally cut through some pepperonis. This was not the case. They were being cheap, and clearly made sure to put pepperoni only in the centre. The rest just had tomato paste smeared on it. Not pizza sauce. Tomato paste. Flavorless, boring, icky tomato paste. No salt. No pepper. I even looked closely to see id there were any specks of Italian seasoning in the sauce. I didn’t see any–I didn’t taste any either. As for the cheese, there was one small clump of cheese on a corner of the pizza slice, and it was flavorless as well, although the texture and color of the cheese were pleasant. The crust/dough was severely flavorless as well. They say it’s made from whole wheat, but it literally tasted like water and whole wheat flour and baking powder. Nothing else. Maybe the pepperoni slices tasted good? I wouldn’t know because I gave my four slices to my toddler, who kept asking for more pepperoni after the four were gone…it wasn’t worth it to go back and get another slice for her, unfortunately. So I was disappointed, and so was she. This experience was such a let down because my daughter and I had been looking forward for quite some time to yummy pizza and ice cream on this rare trip to Lonsdale Quay.
Great Value. The slices here are always fresh and a lot of varieties for toppings. You can not go wrong for a couple of bucks, you have a lot of choices.Service is friendly and it is fast if you are on the run. I would recommend this place for a fresh slice or two. They also have take out for family orders.
Some of the worst!. Me and my lovely girlfriend were out in lonesdale quay and saw Val’s Pizza and thought hey (my gf’s name is Val) that’s funny lets try it. It was the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life! The ingredients were horrible and the sauce was disgusting and loaded on there. My girlfriend had a cheese pizza that was loaded with this nasty cream sauce. I would never suggest this place in a million years!
