I’ve never really gone out for Persian food before, so this was a new experience for myself. Service was great and not too pricey. I enjoy spice but can’t handle too much of it, and surprisingly Zeitoon had options that were on the more mild side. You get quite a bit of food for the price, and overall it was quite tasty.
Was in the neighbourhood decided to step in for lunch. I ordered the traditional vegetable noodle soup have to admit its an acquired taste (definitely not for me) i also ordered the ground beef kabob which was extremely tender and very delicious. The amount of food was way too much for one person the service is really good,i would highly recommend this place, don’t forget to bring your appetite
Kabob was great but Rice… Oh my god, it was the worst rice I ever had in my life and I don’t understand why they serve that cheap rice. The good thing was that they didn’t charge us for the rice.
One of the better places to grab Persian food in Vancouver, prefer zeitoon over most but the downtown location seems to be better than Lonsdale
Came here on a Sunday evening and the place was very busy. I quickly learned this is for a very good reason-great food. I ordered the hummus as a starter and then the koobideh as a main. Very good portions and very tasty marinade. Quick service too! Would recommend.
It’s been a very long time since I’ve had Persian food. This place is higher end that the other kebab places near by, so you can expect prices to be around $15 – $20 for dinner. We enjoyed the Solanti and Vaziri dishes as the kebabs were so juicy. For an appetizer, we got the crispy rice tahdig. Very delicious too. foodology.ca
