Why did I wait so long?. I just never went in here. They have a great selection of imported pastas and other Italian goods. The corned beef is also very good; I think it is local… The man working there (the owner?) was so amazingly friendly I will have to go back and spend more money there. Highly impressed.

Amazing Deli with Delicious Sandwiches. This place is fabulous. It’s got a wide array of Middle Eastern and South Asian spices and chutneys, etc. They also have fresh-made sandwiches. I got a turkey sandwich that was amazing. The perfect proportions of bread to meat to vegetable ratio, such that the sandwich did not slip and slide or fall apart as I ate it. Also, got two delicious pieces of pistachio baclava. Definitely a great place to visit. It’s also open on Sundays, which is convenient seeing as much of Oak Bay seems to be closed.

Still good even without the pork chop. I love the grilled sandwiches and I have to say that this place has the best grilled sandwich in town. there is just something about it…sigh. new ownership seems friendly too. as long as they don’t mess with the sandwiches; I’m cool

Ambrosio will be open on Sundays 11am – 3pm, starting in June till the end of August.

More Hours Please!. LOVE this place- FRESH and LOCAL!! check out the frozen offerings if you are in a pinch for time…. my only quibble is that I frequently walk here to get a few items and am frequently baffled why they are closed on Sunday… Oak Bay Avenue is a fun place on Sunday- better yet if Ambrosio was open.

Best sandwiches in town! Not to mention the spectacular coffee, done like coffee should be. I urge everyone to go here at least once, if not once daily!
