Rather large coffee shop on busy Hillside Ave and Scott St. I ride my bike from downtown to avoid congested parking (need more bike racks in front!). Better option than Starbucks or Timmy’s across the street. Nice to support local businesses. Busy, bustling place with people just hanging out. Small licensed patio out front. Both service and coffee are good and prices are fair. Offer blended drinks too. Also offer very limited lunch special menu like made to order sandwiches and quesadillas. The vegan cookies are yum!

Nice coffee shop. Kind of hard to park but across the street is Hillside Mall with lots of parking. The decor is nice but simple, the staff makes up for it, very nice and pleasent. They have free wifi and a really great cup of joe so it’s a winner in my book as if a coffee is crappy I know because I drink my coffee black. The London Fogs are excellent and the sausage rolls spicy and delicious. Well worth the effort I’m looking forward to my next visit.

my first visit today and it was really good coffee and friendly staff who recommended that i try the doughnut beer cake which was even better than it sounds. it tasted like a slice of doughnut, so good. they also had a brownie made with beer which looked good but i’m happy with my choice. i love that they use beer in their baking. i went with a friend who lives near by who had never been either. she just had a coffee and a cookie but said they were both very good. didn;t stay long as we went to the beach but we will both be back.

Have been here a few times, and really like the pastries, though always get coffee too. Good music, and they seem to keep the volume at a reasonable level. A fair amount of natural light. Always leave there pleased and plan to go back soon.
