Tried this breakfast place based on a recommendation of a friend. I had the cinnamon French toast and my friend had the Eggs benedict. My breakfast wasn’t anything special. I could have had similar at Evelyn’s Cafe for a cheaper price. My friend’s eggs benedict was not so great. The muffin was stale tasting. I may return and give it another chance but I would choose other places before this one in a heartbeat.
Terrible food and service. The owner gave me literally 10 seconds to look over the menu. Worst mushroom soup and sandwich combo I’ve ever had. She was very rude to me (asian) but somehow very friendly to Caucasian couple. Will not return. Racist owner, stay away.
Tessa Luvs food. I had the best chicken burger I’ve ever had in a restaraunt. It was huge!!! The salad was fresh and I had a bowl of soup that was definately homemade I’ll be going back for breakfast the omelets look amazing!
Extensive menu selection. Food is okay. It’s not bad but it’s not amazing either. Prices are a little higher than other diners as there is no real competition in the area unless you are driving or willing to walk farther. Food was ready for pick up when I arrived. The soup tasted it came out of a mix and not homemade. Sandwich of the day was alright. It was a simple sandwich with some ham, tomato, mayonnaise and mustard.
I went in there for brunch but decided on the poutine and it was the best poutine I have ever tasted. The fries were nice and crunchy and the gravy was definitely homemade and the cheese was fresh grated.. Awesome!
