Never go again! Don’t go if you want to enjoy the dinner!. It’s my mom’s birthday and we went for dinner to taste the famous abalone and shark’s fin. The service was so bad that the lady in cashier was the only one who smiled in the whole restaurant. When dishes were on the table, we tried to asked one of the waiter (dressed like a manager) to take pictures for us, and he answered rudely that he was too busy and no time for such thing! I was surprised that they dared to give you a choice of 15% to 25% tips when you paid. We found that the waiters were not poker face all the time, they did smile, but only to frequent coming customers that they knew about. So leave this restaurant to serve their familiar customers only, just don’t go!!!!
Very little Shark Fins. Haven’t been there for quite a while, again, this time we tried their signature Shark Fin Soup w. Crab Meat and some other dishes. For the soup, just found a few shark fins, lots of crab meat though – quality deteriorated compared to last time. For other dishes, still above average. Service was okay. Quite disappointed about the soup.29 Sep, 2012Like or Don’t like???. Like their food – good quality and nice quantity, very sophisticated and traditional Chinese cuisine with expensive ingredients…Don’t like the atmosphere – tables too close with each other, people were talking too loudly; air ventilation was bad…I would expect a more comfortable environment to enjoy an expensive dinner.
Bad service, book a table had to wait almost 1 hour. Ask the guy at front how long we have to wait and he simply told us that if we dont eat there we wont have to wait. super rude. When we finally got a table they didnt even bother change the table cloth, and still left over food and sauce on it. Food are expensive, i would never go back to it again.
I must say the service here is extremely bad! We made a reservation for 12pm and it is not until 1pm that we were able to get a table. A few families came after us and they sat down before us. The attitudes of the servers and managers made us feel really uncomfortable, he pretty much threw the plates and chopsticks at us. we asked them to help us take the baby chair away, and he replied us with I will take it away if you guys were not sitting down and in my way (this is exactly what he said). To be honest, even if there food is good, I would never come again. There food isn`t all that good anyway, I`ve had better.
Delicious food, unsavoury service. We were really impressed with the food at Grand Honour. Dishes that stuck out for me were the shark fin soup, egg-white fried rice (not at all greasy and cooked to perfection) and the sweet and sour pork (which could possibly be the best I’ve ever tasted). Service was less than ideal – very grumpy and rude waiter. But the food definitely made up for it!
Very loud restaurant. The food is good but service is rude. And the restaurant is too loud.
