The Kick of Kosher. Is in the pocketbook, but you can get by that. Kosher cheese, for example must be brought in from Toronto! It is certainly not their fault that their location requires all kosher, all the time. Even so, there are menu items here that should bring in those who didn’t just happen by as a result of activities at the JCC. The coffee is among the best in the city and the whole wheat raspberry scones are excellent. The soup can impress, notably when it includes salmon and all of these items are reasonably priced. The pizza by the slice is really the only item I have tried where kosher adds cost but it is worth it to taste real cheese on a pizza (take note, certain chains).
