Came to the Gray monk vineyard for the wine tour which was a wonderful experience. A must to do when coming down to lake country. We had lunch there and I ordered their risotto. Found it not very creamy but more in line with a sticky rice texture. Flavour of it was not bad…. But I would not recommend this. Their sea food pasta was on special that day as well and was probably the best thing I tried on their menu even though I tired also their salmon tar tar which also lacked in the wow factor for me… Service was ok, but the food took a long time to get to us. I probably would try a different restaurant when I come through again sadly… Was not impressed.

Located at the Gray Monk winery this restaurant provides a beautiful view of the vineyard and lake that is second to none. The lunch service was excellent, the food was wonderful. I had the slow braised beef and it was so tender and full of flavor. At a cost comparable to Earls, the Grapevine restaurant is well worth the drive.

View second to none, service ok, food very disappointing. Dry chicken, overlooked seafood. Grey Monk winery not affiliated with the restaurant which the server stressed over and over again. It was obvious by lack of communication between the restaurant and the winery.

Really Good. We had a big corporate dinner meal here. the service was exceptional, and the meals were perfect. Thanks for ensuring we had a great time.

Beautiful lakeside view of the vineyard and mountains. Diners were obviously enjoying the ambience and service. Great wine too. It’s a shame there was sand in my scallops!

Our tour company has had two larger groups here for dinner in the last month and the reviews from our clients were truly amazing. I was fortunate enough to enjoy a meal here too and agree. The presentation and balances are second to none. The view? Stunning. My only concern would be the room rental fee. I get it but am also in the restaurant industry as well, and believe at a certain point of spending it should be waived. It’s the only part that ironically and unfortunately left a bad taste for the one paying the bill. Perhaps a review of that policy might be in order – maybe even just a $2000 or $3000 minimum? Other than that – wonderful.

The food is spectacular and the view just completes the meal. Two thumbs up for sure.
