Ate breakfast here while visiting. Nice little family run coffee bar. We ordered a latte and eggs benedict. Which was home made and it was very delicious. Friendly service and the service was quite fast! Would recommend and visit again!
Summer dreams. We camp near Oliver nearly every summer and a highlight is going to the Cock and Bull for breakfast. Coffee is great, and we love the breakfast sandwiches. Ambiance is nice, especially sitting outside on the small patio. The owners are very sweet. The service is not super-fast especially when there are a few larger groups, but there is little downside of watching the world go by on main street in Oliver.

Well done. For what is essentially a coffee shop this little place put out some really good food this holiday weekend. While it took some time to prepare our order the results were worth waiting for. Both the schnitzel and the cevapcici (sp?) were perfectly prepared in old-school, rustic manner–thick yet tender, well-seasoned and juicy. The ambience and dated decor leave a little to be desired for a cappuccino bar but for small-town Oliver it fits the diner atmosphere. Service too, could use a bit of an upgrade but that seems too much at this point for the new’ish, hard-working owners. If you like old-school European, give it a go.
