Pulled Pork Perfection- highly recommend. Both my bf and I had pulled pork sandwiches there yesterday. Excellent food, great service (thanks, Sam!) and serious value! We also took the beans to go, as a regular customer we sat beside highly recommended them…… soon to be today’s lunch. This is a great stop for the hungry and was a sweet break during a long, hot day of wine tasting.

Deliciousness. We’ve been going to Hammer’s each summer vacation for 2 years now, and each time we end up going more often. Incredible pulled pork sandwiches, worth going out of your way for. Having tried all 4 sauces, I would definitely recommend the Kansas City Sweet and Spicy. WOW!

Good sandwich. Tried the pulled pork sandwich with Kansas City sweet and spicy sauce. It was delicious. The beans were good too. Didn’t like the ribs though. Way too much pepper and they didn’t fall off the bone like I would expect slow cooked ribs to do. They tasted almost too smokey which I didn’t think was possible for BBQ. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day for ribs. His specialty is the pulled pork sandwich though and that alone is worth a stop. I’ve been waiting for someone to start doing the road side barbecue thing like they do all over the southern US. Would like to see more.
