Unpleasant visit from a little rodent. I had spotted a mouse not once but twice. I saw a little one swarm by while i was sitting and eating in those comfy booths during the early afternoon. Told a server but dont think they told the manager. I have also seen them at night on the patio during the summer time by the fire pit. Worrisome.
After a fun day being tourists we stopped here to have dinner before heading back to our hotel! The atmosphere was nice and lively. The hostess got us a table very quickly even though they were quite busy. We had drinks orders and delivered very fast! Our waitress was such a sweetheart. Very attentive and conversational. The food rocked. We had a burger, mac and cheese, clubhouse sandwich, chicken salad and beef dip. Nothing to complain about. We will make this s stop again next time we are in the area!!

Long wait. Went there for an appy and happy hour drinks. The bar was full so we sat in the lounge. The hostess said a server would be over right away. 5 mins later, no one had even said hello to us. I walked up to the bar to get a drink and the very polite bartender said i couldn’t buy a drink off him but he would come see us and get us a server. The bartender came to our table took our order and of course the happy hour white wine was sold out 30 mins into happy hour so we had to pay full price for another wine. We were still ok with that. 2 more mins still no server and no drinks. Even walked up to the bar in hopes I would see the bartender pouring our drinks. No such luck. We left, never to return again. On our way out the manager called for us saying he would make the poor service up to us. Too little too late in our opinion. There are too many other good restaurant with excellent service that I would prefer to spend my hard earned money in.
Management was rude to natives.. Staff was great, but the manager Justine was rude towards native people next to our table. Shame on you.
I had the beef dip and the Granville Island lager was on special ($4.50). The beef dip tasted ok, but the beef to bread ratio wasn’t good – a little skimpy on the beef compared to a lot of other places. Service was terrible. Our server seemed like she was having a bad day. Hopefully it was one of those days she didn’t give a damn. Is this acceptable service? Nope.
Great service! Great vibe – was here for live band on at night and really enjoyed it! Fish and chips are awesome and the BBQ chicken pizza is to die for! Try the beer samplers – totally worth it for 3 for $6. Will be coming back next time we’re in Van.
