We went to the new place on Denman Street. The food was OK but service was terrible. Our server forgot about us. After 20 minutes we asked another – twice – but she still never came and so he had to take over. We had to ask for our bill, which also never came, so we had to pay at the door. We dont plan on going back. The idea is good but the execution is poor.
Came here on a vacation. Food was good but service was not. We were seated without menus and no one came to take our order for 30 minutes until we brought it to their attention, the server took menus from a different group of people and gave us 2 to share amongst 5 people. There seemed to be an event happening in the upstairs portion and the staff was clearly more occupied with that than the customers on the main level. A very uncomfortable situation and did not make us feel welcome. Will not return here.
