  Took my lady for our four year anniversary, servers flying around everywhere, took almOst 30 mins for drinks, apparently they have a pretty wine pourer, but can’t make a simple manhattan. First time was made with spiced rum second was indistinguishable and just awful. I asked for a pretty commOn brand of bourbon. And they don’t carry bourbon I guess. My girlfriend I are both industry, so we don’t like to make a fuss.But seriously, I don’t even know what to say. We went over to the pub and the bartender made me the best JimBeam manhattan I’ve ever had, I suggested they loan a bottle to the Lounge, along with some battening lessons.

  Good, but not for the budget conscious…. This tapas restaurant, part of the Penticton Lakeside Resort, was where decided to enjoy our New Year’s Eve (2011/12) dinner. The ambiance was nice. Very enjoyable musical duo entertained us. Service was ok. Our meals were quite good. Upon arrival, I thought the portions seemed quite small, but, as it turned out, they ended up being more than enough. We were both stuffed! Good thing, too, as this is a pricey place. Nice place to impress a date, perhaps. If you’re looking to impress whoever does the family finances, however, you might want to shop around a little more.

  Bad service – Bad food. We went there for a girls evening out, there were 9 of us in total. We ordered our drinks and when the server came back with them, she handed them one at a time to the girl closest to her and asked her to pass them around. She then left her tray and cloth sitting on the bench beside us. We ordered our appies, one of which was the dip and bread. The dips were undistinguishable and absolutely tasteless. When we asked what the dips were, the server did not have a clue. She brought over her supervisor, who let us know what they were. We mentioned that they were tasteless, she told us that is how they were supposed to be. No apology. Our entree’s came, which were fairly reasonably priced. When our meals arrived, once again our server asked us to pass them along ourselves instead of walking around the table to do it herself. One of the dishes was the roasted vegetable pasta. The roasted vegetables consisted of carrots and zucchini. Nothing else. Again extremely bland. Not what you would expect from such a lovely location. Another chicken and pasta dish was floating in olive oil, again zero flavour except the oil. That week, we wrote a letter of complaint to the restaurant and never heard a word back. I will never eat there again, due to poor service and extremely poor food.

  We were in the restaurant on October 9th , the food was mediocre at best , it seems very unusual to offer only pasta with entrees . They did not have a bartender working and did not know how to make a Singapore sling . For a major hotel /casino very disappointing experience .
