Delicious appetizers. The seafood cakes were hearty and had a hint of red pepper. The panko breaded beef had a mango BBQ sauce that i asked if they were selling by the bottle! Very engaging servers. The bartender had good recommendations.
We came for lunch with our kids and although they don’t have a kids menu they were very accommodating. The service was great! Very nice. The food was amazing! All of us loved what we ordered. Mumbai salad, chicken and Brie sandwich and the burger all so good. My husband said his burger was the best he’s ever had!
Food good but overall experience very disappointing. My husband and I enjoyed the food but the evening was spoiled by poor service and the fact that the bar fridges were constantly being slammed shut which was incredibly noisy and annoying. We ordered our meals and when the appetizers arrived they had given my husband a different dish than the sardines he had ordered. I started to eat my hot dish as we didn’t want it to spoil and had finished by the time his arrived. When the bill arrived we expected one appetizer to be taken off the bill but it hadn’t been removed. When I expressed my surprise we were told that Athena the owner said that she wouldn’t take off this item from the bill, we left disappointed and will not be returning. The restaurant was full and obviously doing well but that’s no reason for such a dismissive attitude.
So incredibly disappointing. Hostess incredibly rude. I have heard this a few times now by other guests which have been there recently. Yelling at her new staff in front of customers….. We had No waiter to greet us or even water for 25 minutes. We had Reserved a table for 13 a week in advance and when we arrived there were two tables across the hallway from each other with two chairs with their backs to the rest of the party. When I very politely told her that we were not happy and that it was a very special event she went off about how rude I was and how I could do this to a small local business owner and demanded to know who made the reservation. Pretty much yelling at me to tell her who it was. Keep in mind this was in front of customers also. Absolulty embarrassed me!! I felt like a child being scolded for misbehaving. I would have stayed if she had tried to please me in anyway but there was absolutely no way she was going to even fathom the idea. After being ripped up one side and down the other we decided to leave. She made me feel so uncomfortable and like I was this horrible person. After we left the restaurant some people that had just finished eating were outside and could not believe how I was treated and that they have never seen anything like this before. I will never return to such a horrible place again. Costumer is always right even if you think their wrong. Ps I called the Villa Rosa at 8:00 that night for 13 people and they had us seated with drinks by 8:15.
Great atmosphere, Greater food. Been here twice, absolutely amazing both times. The Owner/hostess was extremely professional, helpful and courteous. Will definitely be dining here again and recommending it to all my friends. On a scale of 1-10 its a 15.
Amazing Food. Yes amazing food !!! Amazing friendly service !!! Beautiful surroundings. We were there celebrating our anniversary. They did their part in making it extra special, thanks !!! We will be returning.
Amazing new place!!! Service is first class!! Fantastic wines with a local taste… We sat too close to the kitchen …. Every meal that went by we wanted to try !!!!!! Outstanding Food !!!! Our new favorite spot in town!!! It’s great to see a small resturant be able to battle the big chains!!! We had a couple of tasters of vino and several apps and dessert and coffees for about 100 bucks !!!! The staff are amazing and if it keeps going the direction it’s in this place will be a staple in town!!! We be back very often!!! You should join us!!!
