Won’t go back. We visited there this morning during the farmers market. Originally had just gone in for coffee, but decided to try the breakfast. I had the waffle breakfast, and my husband had the pancakes. Let’s just say the coffee was the only good thing. The pancakes were raw in the middle, my waffle was heavy and soggy, the bacon tasted old, and we left half of it on the plate. The service sucked. It was like they just opened before we got there. There was no knifes, no water out, counters were dirty.Then I asked for a to go cup for my coffee and she rudely handled me one with no lid …I am not to hard to please, and simple smile and some mannors go along way.
We visited Fibonacci Cafe during farmers market this morning. At first glance it seemed to be a cool atmosphere, but while waiting to order coffee we noticed some odd behaviour from staff. One staff member was terribly rude to another staff member who appeared to be being trained. This staff member continued to say they could only remember one drink at a time bc of Bob Marley, and then forgot to make one if our drinks. The lattes we ordered tasted fine, but it was just a very odd experience. Wouldn’t recommend based on strange service!
Great Family Friendly Restaurant. This restaurant offers a very great atmosphere with good food and great coffee. We were very comfortable and extremely thankful to the owner who amused my grandchildren while we enjoyed our coffee and conversation. He had a great attitude and was very good with kids, he left a positive experience and great memories with the children and us.
Fibonacci Worst Coffee Shop in Penticton. The female owner is EXTREMELY rude to patrons, which is why the place is always deserted. The place is also very dirty. Expect to be insulted and demeaned at this coffee shop. My girlfriend and I were the only people in the restaurant, enjoying a coffee, when the owner confronted us with rude and offensive language because we brought a diabetic-friendly muffin into the cafe (they don’t offer any sugar-free options). Under-rated. My wife and I have been in there a number of times (only once, a few days ago, since we moved away from Penticton 2 years ago). Although we are seniors and the clientele is usually younger and hipper, we enjoy the atmosphere when the music isn’t too loud and we enjoy the food. A couple of days ago we had a marvellous breakfast for 5.95 and a large coffee at a reasonable price. The coffee is very strong, but not bitter — just the way we like it. May well be the best in town. Certainly better than Starbucks which we like and often frequent.
This place is horrible!!. I’m not sure how this place stays open.The owner seemed on something and was blatantly hitting on my wife..The entry was surrounded by smokers and yet no one was in the place??Never even bothered to try the food as it couldn’t have gotten much better
Don’t waste your time.. The few times I’ve been there were awful. First you have to wade through a sea of smokers or dirty looking bongo players. Then hopefully someone will take your order. Usually a lengthy wait for coffee or food. The washroom is disgusting and I feel like I’m going to be mugged by the shifty clientel. I try to walk on the other side of the street rather pass in front of this place.
