Hmm mm very pricey for something that is nothing more than an old fashioned family restaurant. Hope the food is as high quality as the price…..service very nice and quick. Coldest table ever… it is -6 outside but should it be on the inside too? Had a seat by window facing main. Food arrives my club supreme looks great but my spouses standard burger was a kettle valley burger….. wrong order 🙁 she tried to enjoy it but not what she originally wanted so we asked for the proper burger….. mine was delicious…. now just waiting for burger ……. might not return..burger here…. not good dried bun….. bill please.
EARLY MORNING BREAKFAST BUT WHAT TIME DO YOU OPEN?. I’m up very early this morning and need to leave latest 7 am but I also need to eat a decent breakfast – busy day ahead. I thought of stopping at Shades on my way out of town and looked for their opening hours on the internet. They have the word ‘hours’ and a graph that is empty and perhaps I just don’t know the secret to activating a yellow square. It would be helpful if you had your information posted clearly on any website that is mentioning your restaurant — I don’t like MacDonald’s but once again I may have to eat there on a early morning — when I wonder why I left the lower mainland area for a small town.
Always my favorite place to come in Pen!! Breakfast served till 4 o’clock, wonderful food, friendly staff and their potato pancakes are to die for!!
My search for authentic Mexican food in penticton is over! Shades on main, Friday only, is where you will find Gastrodamus feasting on authentic, scratch made Mexican, made by – wait for it – people from Mexico! So glad I found this joint, only steps from my house. Don’t be turned off by the atmosphere, or the low rating this place is legit! I had the burritos and they were made with love. First class dive! Hollatchaboyee!
