we came in the waiter sat us at a dirty table that was sticky, the waiter asked us if there is anything we liked to drink we ask for water, when the water came the water had a lime tequila taste to it we asked him if it was flavored water he said it is just plain water, yeah… so grossed out we should have left honestly, we waited for almost 1 and a half hours for our food, me and my friend were not in a hurry as it was super windy rainy and sand everywhere outside so we got talking the whole time.(we are very understanding people but this place is the worst)the food was very hmm not great especially for the long wait. very tasteless.their alcoholic drinks were okay not good not great but ok…so to say the least we will never be coming back to this place, it was our first visit to our last.

I ordered the guacamole as an appetizer – it was super liquidy and had a very off-putting flavour to it. The house-made tortilla chips were fried in a terrible oil. Meal came. I ordered chicken quesadillas. The flavours in those quesadillas tasted like CANNED CAT FOOD!!! The rice tasted like it was Uncle Ben’s microwaved rice. I felt ill after I finished my meal. It was the just the most terrible food I’ve ever had.The server was not very good either. He spoke to us before we ordered and never came around again except to take our plates away and ask for our money. Never once came around to see how our food was. The only positive thing he did was keep my water full. Other than that he didn’t do much.Just awful. This place better re-vamp their food and learn how to cook Mexican food if they want to call themselves a Mexican restaurant. Heck, I can cook better Mexican food then what I was given tonight! Thanks for nothing, Vallarta Grill!
Its the second time I’ve been here. They wouldn’t make tacos for my kid, I get it it’s not on the menu but cmon! The food took 45mins to get to us and was only warm when it did. The waiter didn’t acknowledge my son when he was saying excuse me. The food was OK when we got it. My wife liked the vegetarian enchiladas and me and my son liked the chicken and beef enchiladas respectively. We agreed we wouldn’t be returning to this place again there are much better choices on either side of this place.

Great service, but terrible food. Nothing we had ordered was at an appropriate serving temperature, nor was it in any way authentic. The kitchen appears to work off of reheating ingredients and opening cans. Very disappointed and will not be returning. I’d try Taco Bell. It’s half the price and a similar quality.
Great food, great service, great prices. The Mexican food here is excellent. They have a very extensive menu. I tried both the Roja and the Verde salsas and both were very good. I did not try the Mole sauce, but hope to on a future visit. The service was prompt and helpful.
I’ve never written a review but…. The male server literally pushed me out of the way from behind when i was walking back from the washroom, without saying excuse me or anything, We waited 50 min for our food and when it arrived the server told us we ordered something that took a really long time. If she had warned us when we ordered we would have chosen something different. The ribs were impossible to eat, even with a steak knife. We told her we couldn’t eat it, but didn’t want something else because we didn’t want to wait. They still charged us for the ribs, but we did complain that we didn’t wait to pay for it because we didn’t eat it. After checking our table to see that we didn’t eat the ribs she did take the ribs off the bill because we asked her to. She said it was bad because it was a new menu item. If I was adding an item to my menu I would make sure it was a good recipe before putting it out. I guess that’s what you get for ordering ribs at a Mexican restaurant. I would try this place again because maybe they were too busy what with the girls too drunk throwing up in the bathroom and such. But I definitely felt like this experience warranted a review so maybe management could work on it.
